With an unrivalled enthusiasm for all things real estate, Ana Paula’s passion for her job is contagious. She admits to taking on her clients’ property goals as if they’re her own and is unapologetic about caring ‘too much’.

“I picture their whole house as being in my hands,” says Ana. “It’s like a baby that I need to take care of.”

Her dedication stems from a childhood in Brazil where her family owned a building company. She literally grew up on construction sites, watching her father working all hours of the day to provide for his loved ones. It instilled in Ana determination and a strong work ethic.

“He inspired me and still does,” says Ana.

That tenacity saw her thrive in the 20 years since moving to New Zealand where she started building a new life from scratch. Ana worked in hospitality before opening her own restaurant with her chef partner. She moved to Tauranga and realised her dream of working in real estate. It combined her love of taking care of people and helping to buy or sell their biggest asset with her talent for home staging and design.

“I treat a house as if it’s my own and take huge pride in getting a great result for my vendors,” she says. “I have proven success in real estate with three years’ experience where I pushed through major deals and cultivated an extensive database of contacts. My negotiation skills have been honed, so I can be relied on to achieve the best deal possible for my vendors.”

As a mum of two, family time is important to Ana – whether it’s leisurely strolls with the dog on Papamoa Beach, weekend wanders around the Mount or finding new ways to add style to her own home. Family grounds her while giving her the empathy and patience needed for the fast-paced, and sometimes intimidating, real estate industry.

“I will be there all the way through the process,” says Ana. “I’m proactive and I put myself in others’ shoes. From the first time we shake hands until we get the result they want, I really care about my client. I get huge satisfaction from what I do.”
